If you already have a variable speed polisher with a 5″ velcro backing plate, this kit is for you. It includes everything in the PRO SHOWER DOOR & WINDOW KIT except for the polisher. Remember to always polish on slow speeds! Orbital sanders won’t work well. Grinders won’t work because they are too fast. The polisher you use must be a variable speed with a direct drive, meaning that when you apply pressure to it, the wheel will keep spinning and not stop.
- DOES NOT include the polisher.
- Kit Includes: Tool Bag and Operations Manual!
Hard Water is a pervasive problem. Shower door enclosures, residential windows, commercial windows, glass table tops and more suffer the degradation caused by hard water stains. Add income to your business by offering your customer hard water removal.
The Mr Hard Water – PRO Shower Door & Window Kit – USA solves tough hard water problems €“ quickly and efficiently. Designed for professionals and home owners, this kit is designed to take the guesswork out of hard water removal. Mr. Hard Water Powder contains absolutely no acids or chemicals and is the work-horse for removing tough hard water stains. Simply mix the powder with water to a paste or slurry, apply to the glass and polishing pad, and you’re ready to begin polishing.
When using a polisher on sensitive glass such as residential or commercial windows that may have an external coating (Low-E, anti-reflective, pyrolytic, etc.), then Mr Hard Water 2 Liquid Glass Polish should be your first choice. The Liquid Glass Polish contains polishing particles specifically designed for glass and is composed of polishing particles that are 50 times smaller than traditional hand cleaners. It can be used as a first polish or final polish after using the powder. Watch our instruction videos to see how both remove tough hard water stains. The Liquid Glass Polish is ideal for polishing away acid etching, white haze, and light swirl marks. Both the powder and the liquid can be used with both the nylon and the steel wool pads. I personally prefer the Liquid with a Steel Wool Pad!
The system includes two types of polishing pads – nylon and steel wool. Start with the nylon. It’s softer and less abrasive. If time is of the essence and the stains are not being polished away quickly enough, switch to the steel wool pads.
Once cleaned and restored, Mr. Hard Water Protective Sealant is a protective coating will keep it cleaner longer and protect against further degradation. Apply with a sealer applicator, microfiber towel, or foam sponge. For best results, pour the sealer into a plastic container and absorb the sealer with the sealer applicator or the foam block. Then, spread evenly across the glass. Use the sealer applicator or foam sponge to speed up your jobs and increase coverage rates. No dry buffing required. Cures in 3-5 minutes. After curing, rinse the glass with a wet cloth or a window cleaning strip washer. Then squeegee or dry. Mr. Hard Water Protective Sealant is the most durable, safest, and easiest to apply sealant on the market today!
